Scraps of Elegance Design Team Reveal

We are welcoming two new designers to our team!

You WANT to see of more of this kit right here!

Hey Guys! I have a few reveal projects to share with you today so grab a coffee or wine (depending on if it's 5:00 a.m. or p.m. in your neck of the woods)

I just absolutely LOVED working with this "Sweet Summer Nights" kit this month! The colors are so dreamy, soft and sweet. I had an absolute blast and know you will too!

My first project is a canvas I created using the adorable Fabscraps Chipboard Paper Doll figures.
I dressed her up using some of the beautiful papers in the kit. A little Julie Nutting inspired.:)

My background was covered in gesso and layered with torn papers. Lot's of paint, bubble wrap inking and layered tags.

I have another one of these paper dolls from our kit and I plan to do another canvas. SO much fun!

Look at these beautiful ice cream colors! That's what it reminds me of. Sherbet and Sorbet! There are so many beautiful papers in this kit "Kaisercraft, Authentique and Fabscraps" Melinda puts a kit together like no other. Pure gorgeousness!

The purple misted background was created using the tutorial I shared yesterday you can find it here.
I then cut out a design ( quatrefoil background)  on my Cameo and tore it apart for that broken lattice effect in the background.

I have also used modeling paste in the background along with lots of stamping. Very soft subtle colors that blend in and peek out beneath the lattice and flowers! The chipboard gate is from Gina's Designs. I covered it gesso, smooch paints and Gala Glitz beads.

All these beautiful florals were in our kit. Are they not gorgeous? Melinda really packs the kits and add ons. Nothing lacking here! LOVE!!!

I also used the Leafy Frame from Gina's Designs. I painted the chipboard in gesso and used a few different inks and smooch on it.

This sweet dress for is a stamp from Deep Red. I cut it out and added it to the page as an embellishment.

My final project for today is based on Charlottes sketch for us this month.

This project took on a life of it's own. This is a photo of my dd on her senior prom night.

I've used lots of stamping, misting and modeling paste in the background. This is a Prima metal clock that I gave a shabby look to. I covered the clock in gesso and rubbed a little distress ink on it.

I did a lot of fussy cutting a little punching and mixed up my papers. Melinda blends the different manufacturer papers so beautifully. They always work so well together.

The leaves on here are a new CottageCutz die "Bella Leafy Branch"

This is just a stunning gorgeous kit that you will just LOVE!!! Stop by Scraps of Elegance to see what all the designers have done this month!

I always appreciate you taking the time to stop in and your kind words. :)
