Hello Dear Friends! Today I am sharing my final two projects for Tresors deLuxe Etsy Shop where I had the great honor of guest designing this month!
Oh what treasure you will find if you stop in Lucy's shop and take a peek around. Gorgeous lace and florals to swoon over!

I suppose I was feeling a need to expand into a different arena of papercrafting after creating only layouts and large scale items for the last few years. If you have been following me these past couple of months I have gotten more heavily into cardmaking and tags. That's not to say I won't continue to do layouts! Of course I will! For now though I am enjoying exploring this new love of smaller art pieces.

I found HUGE tags by Ranger- this one measuring 10.5 x 5.5. I love finishing off my tags front and back. I like the idea of using them as gift card holders, cards, or to be framed as small pieces of art.
Here I used my Scraps of Elegance May kit "Yesterdays"
I used the gorgeous Prima Fairy Rhymes papers. These little fairies just beg you to cut them out. I clustered mine with tiny Petaloo flowers and dandelions cut on my Cameo. The top of my tag features the beautiful Rhinestone Centered Ivory Organza Flower.
The lace is from Lucy's shop- the Guipure lace and I gathered it up with some stitching and tea stained it. I just heated up some water in the microwave and soaked the lace in it overnight.

The chipboard is from Gina's designs. Love the Dream word title and the dragonflies. I painted them in magical micas, inked them with distress ink then covered then in crackle. Love the effect!

This is the back of my tag. I used a glassine bag and layered some modeling paste on it. I cut the little bird and flowers out of the Prima paper.
This bag works great to hold a gift. What a great presentation for a gift card don't you think?

I don't think I will ever get enough of these beautiful laces Lucy offers. This one is the white venice lace and I tea dyed it. On this tag I cut the lace apart and used it as a dress for my form.
The top of dress form tag uses one her florals. This one is called the Rustic Shabby Chic Corsage. I love the natural woodsy look.

My chipboard wings are from Gina's Designs. I painted the wings with Lumiere Paint. I then painted over it with Tattered Angels Glam in gold.

The back of my contains an envelope with a little tag. I tucked a little bit of tulle in there for sweetness.

I so loved working with these beauties this month. I hope you stop by Lucy's shop. You won't be sorry.

Have a good week all!

Tresors deLuxe

Tresors deLuxe
Scraps of Elegance

I'm thrilled to share that I was invited to guest design this month for a new etsy shop called

A beautiful little shop filled with exquisite laces and hand made florals. My design team sista Lucy is the owner and I'm so honored she asked me to design for her. Right up my alley and perfect for a shabby chic lover. I was so excited when my package arrived I couldn't wait to get started! I put together a little pillow box for my first project. I'm in love with pillow boxes these days. I love the name "pillow box" too. :)

I cut the box out of cardstock and put it together first. It is a beautiful gift box and can hold a gift card, jewelry, treats etc. The edges of the box are all inked.
I punched the edges of some Prima paper that was in our May Scraps of Elegance kit "Yesterdays"  and applied that over the box.

Over the paper I layered the beautiful cream shabby chic floral and lace from Tresor deLuxe.

Another view of this gorgeous lace. I closed the back with a pin and stamped sentiment from Heartfelt Creations. To insert your gift you just need to unpin and then undo the closure I created on the box back.

My next project is a shabby chic tag created with another Prima paper from the May Scraps of Elegance kit.  This tag was beautifully enhanced with more shabby chic florals from Tresors de Luxe.

I used a crinkle seam binding and cotton thread and button at the top.

This is a close up of the beautiful floral spray. I've added a couple of Prima flowers from our SOE kit.

The back of the tag holds and envelope I created with my CottageCutz die - large confectionary bag

It holds a little notecard with more Tresors deLuxe lace tucked inside along with a little clothespin from there.

This tag is like candy. I loved creating it and working with these beautiful products. Don't forget to stop by the shop and take a peek.

Stay tuned for more projects later this month featuring Lucy's beautiful laces and handmade flowers.
