Close Ups- Artists Trading Blocks

Hi Everyone! Thank you for taking the time to stop in to see me today. I wanted to share more photos of the Artists Trading blocks I created a couple of weeks ago for BoBunny.

I used the "Souvenir" collection to create these blocks. I started with plain black cardstock and used file for Cameo to cut the blocks. It is a just a square box file. There are many tutorials on youtube on how to make your own if you don't own a digital die cutter. You can also use something like the Cuttlebug and this die by Sizzix.

The legs on this box are little wooden spools. I used some plain white tissue paper and the new Brocade Stickable Stencils. I love these stencils! They stick on the paper so no shifting! I also used the new Pearlescents with the stencil. I just dabbed it on with a sponge. Then I outlined the circles in a black Pitt Pen.

I layered papers cutting out images from this paper collection and collaging them. I also used a few different BoBunny Stamps along with their new stamp pads.  Some of the stamps I used are "Captured," "To The Point" and my very favorite "Stained Textures." You can find them here. BoBunny has stamp blocks too in a variety of sizes. I love those!

The new ink pads and glitter pastes are awesome as well! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ink pads. They work great for stamping and also work with a pad for distressing. I used several of the pads on my blocks. You can take a peek at the collection here and the glitter paste here.

The embellishments for my blocks came from the Souvenir collection. I used a lot of the chipboard and buttons. You can find them here.

These were a ton of fun to create! You can swap with other artists and start your collection.

On this block I used some actual "Scrabble" tiles from a retired game. :)

Love how the glitter paste looks. It's just like sprinkle glitter but without the mess! Genius really. Glitter in a paste. It dried clear on here so I was left with glittery gold!

On this block I fussy cut this hotel and wrapped it around the block!

I added a wooden mustache! It seemed to work! LOL

If you made it this far through my photo heavy post know that I truly appreciate it! I hope you enjoyed the inspiration and set off to create some blocks of your own!
