While stalking some of my favorite artists on sb.com I came across mention of a new color challenge site called The Color Room! This is my first week participating in the challenge and I really enjoyed it! Each week they give you a color palette to work with and you have to do a lo using only those colors! This weeks worked out great because I had some papers in my April Swirlydoos kit that fit the bill!
Here is what I came up with!
This is a photo of my mother taken probably in HS! I think photo went perfectly with these papers. I used the stamp set that was in the Swirlydoos kit to make the letter in the word "Youth. " I made the flowers using a sizzix die. The rub ons were in the kit too. I just picked up the MS punch around the page. This was my first time using this one. I also picked up a few things at Michaels last week. They had a lot of K & Co on sale. I bought a couple of boxes of their diecuts. The pussywillows are one of them!
