Marivic sent me two beautiful tags that she creates for her etsy shop and here is what I did with them!

My first project is a 3-D altered dress form

I was inspired by this fabulous tutorial from 

Miranda Edney

where she demonstrates how to 

create a 3-D dress form using the Tim Holtz

I used the beautiful July kit from

to use on my project along with the tag...

I used Marivic's tag on the base of form. The base is a round box top cover that I embellished.

Some of the buttons, bobbins and pin were in the package sent to me along with the tags. I thought they fit in perfectly with the dress form theme.

My next project
is a covered journal

Marivic sent me the beautiful doily and I added details around the gorgeous tag with the July Scraps of Elegance kit.

January Challenge At Berry Bleu

 A new month- new challenge over at Berry Bleu!
 Here is a peek at the prize you can win if you play along~

The January Challenge is to alter anything. You can do a LO, card, tag, box, or anything your heart desire that you think is alterable. You can add any elements you wish and use any media to alter your project.

  In the sample challenge picture, an old chocolate box was used. It was covered with paper; the top cover was also embossed in gold then covered with lace fabric. Decorated with Berry71bleu tag, vintage rhinestone necklace, antique brooch, old chandelier crystal piece, and handmade flowers.

 This challenge is open to anyone around the world and you can submit as many projects as you wish. Projects must be downloaded by February 5th on the blog's sidebar using Linky Tool. Good luck!!!!

Design Team Reveal Berry Bleu!!!!

Today I have my first Berry Bleu project for December to share with you. These Christmas tags are so beautiful and it's easy to come up with so many ideas on how to use them. I have been loving doing altered projects with the tags lately and this month is no exception. I used a plastic cookie container from my local grocery store and repurposed it.

I pleated the paper using my Martha Stewart score board and punched the edges before wrapping around the box. I added little roses at intervals to make it pretty! 

I added a chipboard snowflake that I covered in gold stickles. I added my favorite Heartfelt Creations leaves and covered them in diamond dust.

The edge is covered is tiny punched leaves.

I haven't decided if I am going to use it as a gift box for cookies or for a gift card. Or maybe I will keep it because at the moment I am having a hard time parting with it. :)

This month I created another layout using the beautiful November Thanksgiving Tag from Marivic's etsy shop. This is a photo of my dd that I took last month during our pumpkin patch excursion!

I stitched around the outside edges of the paper and used some punches in my design. The butterfly is from my design team sista Renea's Etsy Shop. I made the flowers using Heartfelt Creations  HCPC 3318

Daisy Patch Flowers Precut Set and the matching die HCD 703.  I also used the HCPC 2254 Leafy Swirls Precut Set to make the leaves around my flowers.

Design Team Reveal Berry Bleu!!!!

This months design team reveal I was honored to work with Marivic's gorgeous Thanksgiving theme tags. These are tags that she sells in her Etsy shop and are so versatile. They can be used either on layouts or altered projects!
I have been on a altered art roll lately. I think the tags work great to repurpose items and use them as beautiful gift boxes or containers OR keep them yourself. ;)

Today I have an altered container to share. It's one of those canisters you can pick up at your local craft store.

I wrapped the container in a punched paper layered with two different designs. Then I added leaves, flowers and a vintage paper behind the tag.

The large flower on the top of the container was created using Heartfelt Creations Daisy Patch Flowers PreCut Set and the matching Spellbinders dies. I cut about 6 of the large daisies then trimmed them to three petals. I then attached the petals to a large punched circle to form the outer two layers of flower. 

This was something I did to create a larger daisy out of the stamp. I colored the lace with Lindys Mist.

I may use this as gift box for someones November birthday!

Design Team Reveal Berry Bleu!!!!

Once again this month, in keeping with the Halloween season, I created what I call a cookie gift box using the beautiful tag created by Marivic of Berry Bleu Pages and Tags.

I added a little bling to the cat image on the tag. Other than that the tag includes everything you see. Whimsical buttons, rosettes and candy corn. I made the large pleated flowers using Martha Stewarts scoreboard. I love using that board for these flowers. You can size the flowers and pleats to your liking using this method.

Once Upon a Springtime

This fabulous photo of my dd was taken by my friend Gina. I thought it was the perfect photo for these beautiful papers to compliment this awesome tag by Berry Bleu.

  All of the details you see on the tag, the buttons, butterflies, flowers are all put together by Marivic and included on the tag. So many beautiful details!
  I stamped the corners of the background paper with a Prima stamp and the circle with another Prima flourish stamp. Lot's of fussy cutting of the G45 papers and the vines were cut on my Cuttlebug with a Sizzix die.

Berry Bleu Design Team Reveal!

It's the 15th of the month. Another reveal day this month for BerryBleu.
I am excited to share another beautiful tag Marivic has created! I love how easily these tags fit into scrapbook pages. This one blends beautifully with the Prima Moulin Rouge collection. I also love using them on a vintage inspired layout.

 This is a photo of my MIL when she was a young lady. I chose this time to use a small 2x3 ish sized photo for a change of pace. I have great fun coming up with projects to showcase these tags. Come by the BerryBleu Website and visit the etsy shop to see more of these tags put to use!

August Challenge at Berry Bleu

New Month- New Challenge at Berry Bleu!

Here is the recipe for the challenge:
Recipe Ingredients
1 piece of cardstock for base
At least 3 different patterned paper, one of which must be a circle of at least 10cm.
1 piece of lace/ribbon/trim
1 journal spot
2 buttons
4 embellishments of your choice.
A title of your choice
You can submit up to 3 projects and anyone from anywhere can enter this challenge. You have to be a member of this website to join. Membership is free. All you have to do is upload your entries to the Album called "August Challenge Album". Which you will find on the sidebar on the homepage. Pls. submit challenge by August 31st. The DT members will pick the winner and we will announce by the first week of September. Thank you so much and we hope that you can join us.

Today is the day I get to share my first layout using the beautiful tag that Marivic created for Berry Bleu designs! June 1st design team reveal. The design team will be sharing projects made with these tags twice a month.

I used this photo of my dd I had taken a couple of years ago and just photoshopped some butterflies in it. The gorgeous pink tag is a BerryBleu creation. I have so many of these vintage tags to create with and I can't wait to share my different projects with you.
