Misc Me - Madeleine Collection

Hey Everyone! Today I'm up on the BoBunny Blog you can click here to see my post. I'm doing two posts today one on the BoBunny Blog with the first part of my Misc. Me album and the rest I am sharing here!

If you have not met Misc. Me it is a super fun pocket style scrapping album, book, journal, mini album, recipe book---- so many options!

I'm working with the Madeleine Collection for mine. I've used the recipe collection along with the regular pattern paper and embellishments from this line. I've used lots of the Pocket Page Protectors in new fun ways! Check it out!
My background is the notepaper you can find it here. I've added a recipe card in the background and then used some elements from the Madeleine Noteworthy and pattern paper. This is a copy of something my daughter made me for Mothers Day when she was little. I copied the front of it and added to my album. I've embellished with BoBunny stamps and mists.
I love using larger photos in my Misc Me album. I printed a photo out large enough to fill two pockets and added a digi frame. I cut the photo in half and inserted them in the pockets.
This page is another clear pocket. It's a full size pocket and I actually used all my elements on the top of it. I though it would be fun to treat the pocket as a transparency. It takes mist and ink beautifully so I worked the photo and elements on the top of the pocket. Inside the pocket I tucked in string and sequins. Although the photo doesn't do it justice it is fun to see the transparent layer in real life.
This last page was really fun to do. These were some photos taken at my daughters 14th birthday party. I printed the top photo out large enough to fill the two pockets and cut in half. The misting is on top of the pocket. The bottom pocket contains a recipe card and my photos were printed out in a film strip digi frame. More sequins and misting!

Here are a couple of close ups:
I've used the Bronze Glimmer Spray on this page. Love the way it looks!
I also used some of the Silver Glitter Paste on the flower and wood embellishment. The photo belows shows more misting over the page protector and a closer look at my photo.

If you have made it this far don't forget to stop by BoBunny and see the first 4 pages of this book. I promise you will LOVE it!

Thanks for stopping in today! I hope you start a Misc Me book for yourself! I know you will enjoy it!

All About Me- BoBunny Primrose Misc. Me

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing my Misc. Me project featuring the beautiful Primrose collection.

I was lucky enough to receive the Primrose Misc Me binder, journal pages and recipe contents. I knew right away what I wanted to do with this collection. I have a ton of photos of me when I a child - great black and white ones from WAY back when! I thought what better way to keep them safe than to do a book of me. Misc Me is just perfect for this task.

I've combined the journal pages, recipe contents and the Primrose Collection papers and embellishments on this project.  My first page is a photo of myself with my grandmothers. I was probably about 3 in this photo. I fussy cut the mat for the photo and added florals and leaves. I wanted a vintage feel so I tore out some book pages and inked them to add some interest to the background.

I layered much of the Primrose collection along with the recipe page. I simply cut the recipe card apart and used it as a layer. I love how easy this is. I can create a beautiful shabby page in a smaller format. I also love the journal pages as a background. I can journal on the front or back or use the Misc Me cards. You will see more of that later.

This page has many layers and die cuts with inked edges. I have used a photo of me as a baby with my Godmother. Don't you just love the pink and green combo of Primrose?

Here I used the recipe page. I love the diecut shape! This is a photo of my beloved grandfather. I used to love his crew cut. I got a big kick out of it!

Here are the Misc Me cards. I layered a few of them and added some washi tape. I plan to use these for journaling and documenting the photos.

Besides adding photos to my "Book Of Me" I plan to add things about myself growing up. The Misc Me collection includes lots of pockets and folders so they are perfect for tucking in memories from your childhood. Here I created a tag and outlined all the tv shows I could remember enjoying as a kid and young teen.

If you are around my age you probably watched a few of these yourself!

BoBunny Misc Me

Family Is

As scrapbookers go I'm not the most organized. I don't scrap in order... or scrap events (in order) or um... scrap with journaling...or do any of the "traditional" things scrappers do. So when I had a chance to work with the new Misc. Me collection I knew this was a chance to get my "Family Life" in order... in a random, miscellaneous sort of way!

While you CAN use it as a journal, a recipe book, an ORGANIZER, CALENDAR or photo album; I chose to use to use it as all of the above.

Here you will find me sharing favorite, photos, documenting achievements, sharing our most enjoyed recipes and attaching pockets for secrets to be tucked into.
I'm working with the "Family Is" book and that was my inspiration for my selections to these pages. I started off with some photos from a shoot we did a couple of years ago.

I used some of the cards in the packs to attach my photos to and made a tag out of them to tuck into the pockets. I also chose to make up my own embellishments by cutting elements apart in all the Misc. Me products.

This calendar page is filled with photos from that shoot with a little reminder typed in about what I should do each day!

I have made a little pocket and tag where I will write a secret message to my family.

These pockets come in handy to document special achievements throughout the year. I  photographed a project my daughter did this year and printed it out on cardstock. Then I added it to the sleeves. Since I can not possibly keep all the school work she comes home with I thought this was a great way to keep it documented without taking up a lot of space.
A photo and recipe for our favorite winter soup!

Just a few cute photos to fit the January theme. Journaling about that day can be tucked into the pocket.
