My take on grunge

I'm not a big fan of the grunge but I may be warming up to it! There was a grunge challenge over at Swirlydoos and here is my take on it. I have been wanting to do a layout of my little daughters feet! Little feet and toes are so cute. Don't you agree? Anyway she is a great little model now. She really works it for me. hee hee
So I did my best to make this grungy but really wanted the keep the impact on the photo. I tore and distressed the gray paper, which came in our MAY SWIRLYDOOS kit. I torn and peeled cardboard and layered it. I added a screen print and shredded up some burlap! I also smeared some red paint on the background. I'm pretty happy with it actually. I had the gray paper in hand when I started and knew I really wanted to smear red paint on it but was a little apprehensive because I did not have another sheet if this one came out crummy! I went for it nonetheless. hee hee
