File Folder Pocket Accordion Fold Mini Album- 2nd Reveal- Scraps of Darkness

Hey Everyone!

Today I have my second reveal with the August Kit for Scraps of Darkness titled "Kathys Nature Walk"... You can find our kits and the store with all the extra goodies .... HERE

I thought I would do another file Folder Pocket Mini Album only a little different this time. This one is filled to the brim with an Accordion Fold Mini Album, Seven Photo Mat Tags and a Little Journal Tag with a Special Deer Dangling!

Come have a peek...
File Folder Mini Album By Lisa Novogrodski using Scraps of Darkness Kathys Nature Walk Kit

The outside of the file folder pocket was created with a mix of Kaisercraft Botanica "Seed" and "Botanica"
I used the gorgeous Blue Fern Chipboard "Seasonal Wildflowers" and embellished with Petaloo Florals - "Botanica Minis Purple" and "Botanica Pistachio". All these goodies are found in the kit and the add ons.
I used a chipboard fence from Dusty Attic found in my stash.

The Blue Fern Seasonal Wildflowers were painted in Silks "Pretty Peridot" for the green leafy areas. The florals were painted in Shimmerz Dazzelerz Grapetastic then embossed with my new found favorite item- Stampendous Encrusted Jewels.

This beautiful metal dragonfly was in our Creativity Add On and it's by Vintaj. I treated it with Ranger Patinas also found in the kit. You can find some extra metal dragonflies here in the store...HERE

This is the Accordion Fold Mini Album. I used the Simple Stories "Summer Vibes" as my base and then enhanced with Kaisercraft "Habitat"

I did a little Accordion Fold Mini Album awhile ago for BoBunny with a video tutorial. If you would like to make one of these you can find my tutorial HERE

A little close up on the album... I used a Prima "Coy Adele" floral from the kit and the BoBunny "Heritage" Misc. Me Journal Cards and Buttons...

These tags are beautifully embellished with the little quotes found in the Botanica collection and some Prima Wood Flowers. These were treated with mix of Viva Rusty Patina, Shimmerz Dazzelerz and Liquid Pearls in Garnet. I also embossed them again with the Encrusted Jewels.

Here is a little close up of the wood flower...

The background card on this one is another BoBunny Journal Card from the Misc. Me collection. This cute little deer was included in our kit. It's a Blue Fern "Forest Friend"..... I coated it in gesso and then embossed it with Lindys in "Twilight Bronze Slate" and Ranger "Antiquities - California Stucco"

What I love about Scraps of Darkness is the wonderful array of products you get each month in the add ons. I have built up quite a stash especially in color. Each month Melinda includes so many beautiful products ranging from inks, mists, embossing powders, gel mediums... everything you need to build your supplies. Then you can fall back on these with each new kit and use your products month to month!

I die cut some more quotes from the Botanica collection and backed them in a lighter print. These can be used as photos mats or journal tags.

This is peek at the back of the tags. I die cut smaller mats and these can also be used to highlight a photo or to journal on.

This is just a peek at the back of the File Folder Album. I keep it simple with just a piece of pattern paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my project and try one of your own!
