Scraps of Elegance Printers Tray Mistletoe Memories

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing a project I had sooo much fun creating! I created a Printers Tray featuring the December SOE kit "Mistletoe Memories"
You can find it here

I was greatly inspired by a project I saw Karola Witczak create in this months edition of Paper Haus magazine. I just love Karola's work and always find her so inspirational. I drew off some of the elements she incorporated in her project and tried to make it my own.

I started off with a black printers tray and painted it white...several hundred times. LOL
Then I covered it with modeling paste in a rough way so it would look snowy and frosty. I then went over it all in a clear sparkly glitter glue.

The kit this month was just perfect for a project like this. SO many little bits and pieces to love, layer, embellish and shabby up.

I used a combination of BoBunny Silver and Gold, MME Vintage Christmas and Graphic 45's 12 days.

Glitter, pearls, modeling paste for a snowy wintery effect.

I have also covered some chipboard snowflakes and other elements in shimmery Mica Flakes.

Tucked in among the kit embellishments are Gina's Designs Doiles.

A beautiful chipboard banner came with the kit in the MME Vintage Christmas chipboard sheet. I embellished it with florals, leaves and doilies.

Can't forget the Inka Gold. I used that on the wooden pieces also included in the kit.

A little glimpse of the side.

Thanks so much for taking a peek at my project today. I hope this inspires you to go off and create one for yourself!
