Today I am showcasing what I did with the fun new

Carnival Collection

I created a shadowbox out of an artists canvas that I reversed. I have created these many times in the past and I love doing them.

This range is perfect for this type of work. There are so many fun embellishments in the collection. I used the Pockets to create a frame for my photo and left one side open so the photo could be changed. I added a colored paperclip to keep it closed.

There are so many fun die cuts, stickers and trims in  the Carnival Range. I set the stage with a carousel horse, banners & tickets. I added molding paste in a dot design and added little dots for detailing in liquid pearls.

I detailed my edges with Martha Stewart punches on the beautiful "Tokens & Dotti" pattern paper.

Here is a close up of my photo and the cute little details.

Your next stop is Carrie Waltz.

Such a creative and fun project Lisa! Great idea to leave the pocket unsealed so that you can swap in different photos!

This is a wonderful technique for using canvas. You did a beautiful job, and I'm impressed with your use of the rockets and creating a pocket to change your pictures! Terrific!

Never thought about making a shadow box for my layouts. Great idea. Every time I look at the page I see something cute and different - the carousel horse in the middle, the embellishments.I Hope you had a good time at the carnival.
