Swirlydoos **Antebellum Beauty** June Kit

I did not dig into my new kit as quickly as a normally would because I got some new furniture for my scrap studio and was busy putting it altogether and cleaning out and organizing!!!! More on that later...

Here is my first layout (which is for the sketch challenge over at Swirlydoos) using this beautiful kit and Beggahuna's sketch!
This is a photo of my mother my guess is from High School. I had a piece of velvet flocked paper in cream in my stash which I combined with the new papers from the kit! I used quite a few things from past Swirldoos kits, the butterfly, prima felt flower vine, MF cameo and frame. The cream color flowers I used a sizzix die to make. I also had that metal piece that i put the title on in my stash!

TIP:
I grabbed that shape off the web (the scalloped one) and loaded it into my PSE to resize it to letter size and just one half of it. I printed it out and made a template of it. I wanted it to be large, so I improvised and made a third scallop to fit a 12x12 sheet of paper! You can do this when you see a  shape you like to use as a template. If you have a 12x12 printer you are lucky and can just size it to 12x12 and print it out. If you have a smaller printer like me you have to half it, then make a complete template once it's printed on another piece of paper.

Thanks for visiting me today! Enjoy the day! xo
