Flower Stamen and natural center tutorial

What you need

  • For the beaded stamens you need craft wire, beads, scissors and your flowers.
  • For your centers I used craft paper that comes wound up but you can used anything you can think of, burlap, gauze etc. I used paint dabbers and liquid embossing glass, but you can used glossy accents and glimmer mist or alcohol inks.
Cut 3 pieces of wire. I actually cut these a bit too short. I would go with 4.5 inches next time.

Bend the wire in half and add your bead. You can do one on each side or more. Whatever your heart desires.

Once you have the bead on there twist the wire around it to secure.

After you get the three wires done you should have 6 stamens. Poke the bottom of the wire through the hole in your flowers and arrange them you like.

To make the center take your paint dabber and pounce it on the paper.
Then crumple it in a ball.

Coat with glossy accents or liquid embossing. Use a heat gun to dry if you are impatient like me. Then just glue on and you are done!

Hope you give this a try! Thanks for stopping by today!
