I finished up a couple of layouts from my new April kit. Love it! Park Ave is it's name. Doesn't that sound elegant? Gorgeous Websters pages here. Lifes Portrait. I love that name too!
I tend to like to cut up my Websters papers. I have absolutely no problem cutting up pretty paper. I think ( and this is just my humble opinion) that it can make a layout more interesting than just using the paper as a sheet. I love layers and complex designs so this works for me and challenges my creativity. I cut the beautiful paper with the black frame and black circles. I really love that paper. I made those flowers using a technique I saw Gabi P post on MCS. The photo is my dd and the journaling is text on the photo reading "I want to bury myself in your mountain of curls and sleep there forever."
This next one is my dd again. I did a little photo shoot at home with her and am learning my pse so I did some editing to this to make a dream like quality to the photo.
I cut up the black circle paper, stamped the edges and layered layered layered that pretty paper with the words on it! I used smoochie on the white flowers and made those pearl flourishes out of liquid pearls!
