This months technique over at Swirlydoos is a clock! The clock came as a blank slate of sturdy composite board with the clock mechanism unassembled... (we won't get into my technical difficulties here but let's just say I made a faux clock!)
I am in love with Graphic 45 especially for use on altered projects. I feel that their papers just scream (do something different with me!) So here we are --- my vintage clock:
I used Communique papers, and used crackle accents over the background and "frame." I then went over alot if it in chalk, because it brings out the crackle. You can see it much better in the following close ups:
I used the template we received in the kit to guide my black bling circle, and I also used the frame, and inner clock that was in the kit. I covered the numbers in black paint then used a glass effect embossing liquid. The numbers came out very glassy looking. Sooo cool!
(I don't know what's up with blogger today. I am having trouble posting pics <<<<<< as soon as I can fix it I will!)
I had those bubble numbers on hand. I inked up a lot of the project also and added metal embellies to it.
Hope you enjoy it and it inspires you to try something different! tfl
