Couple more Layouts from Venice

I am on a mission to use up some papers in my stash. It's actually making me nervous to see all that I have acquired and have not used!

The paper is Prima stitched mulberry which I had on hand. I used the butterfly frame, chipboard bird which I painted and distressed, the wire beads and chip heart are from the Venice kit. Also the distressed green paper behind the photo. This is the first time I cut a photo from it's background and I really like the effect. I filled the heart with Prima blooms and credit Gabi P for that idea. I saw it on one of her layouts. I made the pearl flourishes out of tulips bead paint.

This is another lo using the Venice kit and this months technique at ** Swirlydoos**  -----> metal!!!!
I made both of these pieces with embossing folders that I ran through my cuttlebug! The frame is a Technique Tuesday and I used a crackle paint on it that came with the kit. It was a little to yellow/gold so I colored it with chalk. I love how it came out. You can really see the crackle and the colored worked out great with the papers. I tried to do something a little artsy with this layout using Scrapperlicious as inspiration. She always uses her papers in the most interesting ways.

Thanks for taking a look today!
