Layout Created with Scraps of Elegance Tiffanys Style Kit

Hello Friends!

Before I get to sharing my project I want to let you know I have started an "Artist" page for myself on Facebook. If you have been a follower of mine on Facebook I will be scaling back on my "friends" on my personal page keeping it to people I actually know or who I am in regular contact with through the art/scrapbooking industry.  If you would like to stay in contact with me and follow my work and I hope you do then please "like" my page ------ HERE
I have new layout to share with you all today created with the beautiful October Kit "Tiffanys Style"

You can find this kit and all our kits ------ HERE
This one is filled with gorgeous PRIMA "Royal Menagerie" and Kaisercraft "Oh So Lovely"

I used a mixed of both collections. My main papers focus on the Kaisercraft collection and I've got bits of the Prima torn and applied beneath the photo area and distressed and layered in the background.

The mixed media parts of my project utilize Lindys mist - I lightly misted, used some splatters and also a paintbrush with water to start my first layer off. Then I added some Distress Ink with the Prima stencil "Decor"...stamping over that with the Prima stamp "Royal Menagerie clear stamps 2". These are found in our Elements Add On ------ HERE
More splatters were added with gesso and my favorite gold Lumiere paint.

I seem to be using lots of florals in my work lately. Or did I always?? **shrugging shoulders**
These are from both the Scraps of Elegance Kit and Scraps of Darkness Kits for October.
You can find them in the add ons ------ here   and here

Also some are found in the Main Kits as well.

The chipboard is gorgeous Blue Fern "Circle Groups" found in the Elements Add On

I used a lot of technique on the chipboard first coating it in gesso and then painting in a yellow tone acrylic. I then embossed with Stampendous in  Encrusted Jewels in Pink my favorite powders found here

I also embossed with Distress Powders in Vintage Photo and California Stucco. Add to that painting in with Lumber in Metallic Rust and Pink Gold. :)

Looks gorgeous doesn't it? I love those embossing powders and by painting and layering with both you can achieve beautiful results. Oh and I also used a little bit of Silks acrylic paints in a pink tone. :)

You can find me on Twitter too. If you are so inclined just click here and follow me. Thanks a TON if you do!!!!!!
