3rd Reveal- Scraps of Elegance - March Kit

Hello Hello! Here I am again with another project to share with you all! I've been loving my March Scraps of Elegance kit to pieces! "Annas Daydream" it is titled after our own crazy talented designer Anna Rogalska

Our kits sell our out super fast so you may want to consider becoming a kit club member. Then you won't miss another!

You can find our store, available kits and subscriptions >>>>>> HERE

Melinda does a gorgeous job of coordinating everything from papers to florals to the tiny little embellishments that make a project perfect.

While others scrapbook to preserve memories and make the photo the reason for the page I scrap for the art of it. My pages are technique based and my photo is another artistic element to the page. I also enjoy photography and love to edit and play in photoshop.

This is a photo I had taken of my daughter by a talented photographer in my area. I used the Holly McCaig Border Effects Frame again on this one. I picked this digi kit up years ago at Two Peas but you might be able to find it somewhere else if you use Mr. Google!

Life Is Short Layout by Lisa Novogrodski for Scraps of Elegance using the March Kit "Annas DayDream"

On this page I mixed the Blue Fern Paper along with the Prima and 7 Dots included in the kit.

I used a ton of stamps on the background. I have a very large collection that I have acquired over the years and now have found mixed media to be the perfect way to make use of them. The layers of different stamps and inks makes for interesting textures and design.

This is a close up of the frame. Such a fun one to use! Lots of beautiful florals included in the kit. I used some splats of Lindys on there. The chipboard is Blue Fern- another item in our kits and once again I cut it up! I used chalk paint for that beautiful yellow tone then embossed it with Lindys.

I've told you in previous posts that chipboard isn't safe with me. I like to take it apart and use it differently on the page. Well apparently Reneas butterflies are not safe either. This one got bisected and tucked in. Can you find the other half?

Lots of splatters in the background, layered with stamping and modeling paste. We received a beautiful stencil in the kit and I've used it with paste and ink. I threw in a few sequins for shine and sparkle.

Lisa, I absolutely adore your mixed media talent! At this point, honestly I don't know if I could pick just one favorite ... cause I love them all! Love your placement of everything and your use of chipboard, butterfly looks fab peeking out:) Your mixed media work has a modern look and at the same time delicate and girly, which I love!
