1st Reveal- Scraps of Darkness April Kit- Lauras Wish

Hello Blog Friends!

Today I've got a new layout to share featuring our April Scraps of Darkness Kit "Lauras Wish"
This fabulous kit is named after our own special social media director
Laura Gilhuly. Each month our wonderful boss Melinda has been dedicating kits to her designers. She has been putting kits together that she feels includes things that particular designer likes and that goes along with their style. How lucky are we that we not only get to design for this beautiful kit club but work for someone who honors us in that way?

In case you missed the reveal of the kit here is a peek at the Main Kit photo and you can find our kits

I never fail to get excited when a kit of mine arrives. It is an instant mojo boost. I always have more ideas than time.

I used a copyright free photo for this page. I created a very grungy mixed media page with lots of detailing. I used Lindys Mists in several colors to achieve the splashed look in the background.

Lots of layers with stamps and elements from the kit tucked in.

I have soooo many stamps and I forget about them as I'm sure we all do when we start to acquire a lot of supplies. I have been making an effort to pull out old ones and use them. The camera and finger pointing hand worked so well here and they are both stamps I cut out to use as embellishments.

I've got flowers and die cuts from Kaisercraft tucked beneath my photo.

I love the color scheme with the Kraft printed paper along with blues, golds and red.

Lots of grungy stamps and paint. I also dissected one of Reneas butterflies yet again. Can you find the antennea?

That's the last close up for this one. I've got to go get started on another!
