Bloom Girl Guest Design

Hello Friends!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I'm excited to share that my month for guest designing with Jamie Dougherty's Bloom Girl team has finally arrived!

Today I am sharing my first project of the month. I used Jamies "Mixed Media Bloom Book" I also used Bloom Girls stamps "Paige and Joy."

I wanted to do something different and fun so I decided to stamp the Bloom Girls on white cardstock. Then I cut their hair off and the flowers. I rearranged the flowers in their hair to suit my needs.

I thought it would be so fun to create art dolls out of the stamps. I printed off some art doll parts and added them to the faces.

I used Caran D'ache water soluble crayons to color my faces and many of the florals. I also used the Bloom Flair and Bonus Stamp. I made a garden out of them combined with some of the florals from the Bloom Girls face stamps. I stamped them on Prima pattern papers.

I used a little Bloom Spray in the background with some modeling paste and masks. I also used the Bloom Girl clear acrylic stamp.

I love how this project turned out and it was a ton of fun!
