If you have come from Lisa Gregory's blog you are on the right track!

Hi Everyone! It's Lisa Novogrodski here blogging from the cold Northeast. I reside in Rhode Island, the smallest state here in New England. Although I do not love WINTER I love the change of seasons and I love living on the coast. During the summertime you will find me at the beach at least 3 times a week!

For this blog hop we are sharing projects with the Elf Magic collection. I like to use collections in ways other than the obvious. I enjoy creating in a shabby chic fashion and one of my biggest inspirations for small projects is the fabulous Melissa Phillips.

I'm inspired by so much of her work for cards and altered items and got the idea to make a shabby ornament featuring this collection.

I decoupaged a paper mache heart with the Elf Magic Mischief papers.
I tore the papers up into small pieces and used modge podge to adhere.

Then I went over it with a decoupage sealer. I then coated it in Mica flakes for lots of holiday sparkle.

I used gesso to whiten the twine handle and then tied seam binding, lace and eyelash yarn around it.

Some chipboard snowflakes from my stash were added. They were coated in modeling paste and glitter. I topped them off with the chipboard elements from the Elf Magic 12 x 12 chipboard.

I die cut a tag and attached some of the stickers from the Elf Magic Misc. Me stickers.

Let it snow...let it snow...let it snow...

Your next stop is: Lynn Shokoples
