Scraps of Darkness Design Team Reveal

Hi Everyone! Today is our official reveal for this fabulous kit! I have loved every second of creating with this one peeps. Don't let the name "The Black Album" fool you! The way Melinda puts a kit together gives you so many options for so many styles.

The first layout I created went a little bit shabby! I used a rusty red for the background and accents.
The chipboard is Dusty Attic.

This is a photo I took of my daughter at her senior prom. I think it ties in beautifully with this theme of the page.

I really loved working with My Minds Eye Chalk Studio Collection. I wanted to show you how you can work with these beautiful titles. I worked them into my projects in many different ways.

Here is a close up of the florals I used. I inked up the chipboard because I really liked the raw look to it. Added a little fringy wisps to give it a shabby feel. The leaves are a CottageCutz die.

Next up is a fun layout again working with the Teresa Collins Memorabilia Collection. I used the Love the Moment title!

I had a cute a photo of my daughter taken by Sara's Photography. I never do small photos but I really this worked so well and was sooo cute!

The background technique for the black was the trash bag technique I shared a while back.

I also used some of Ingvild's inks in the background.

Finally my last project and this one I really love! More work with My Minds Eye Chalk Studio papers.

Such a fun title. This is a photo of my daughter and I taken by Sara's Photography. That was a fun day. She had a bed set up in a field and we got a lot of great photos from that shoot!

I added some modeling paste and mist along with some sequins.

I love the pink and green with the black. Don't you?

So that's a wrap gang! Hope you are going to stop by Scraps of Darkness and grab yourself a kit. It would be a shame for you to miss one. ;)

Wow Lisa, what a amazing job you did with these papers! I love each of these layouts, and they are all so different. This kit looks to be very versatile with the different colors and patterns on the backsides of the papers, Really enjoyed the reveal this month!
