Our Guest Designer this month is the fabulous

My first project is based on this months sketch by Charlotte!

I was inspired this month to use a lot of stamping on my projects. I forget that I have all these stamps and how great they work as embellishments. The large heart and key are from a set of Tattered Angels stamps I have on hand. Of course the leaves are my beloved Heartfelt Creations Stamps!

The butterflies and birdcage are also stamps.
I was inspired by one of my scrap idols Gerry Van Gent on the window with my daughters photo. I saw a layout she had done with a window like this and it reminded me that I had a similar die. I inked the window and used a stamp in the middle of the shutter like Gerry had done on her page. Thanks for the inspiration Gerry!!!

My flowers were created using the CottageCutz "Layered Zinnia" die! I love this one. It's one of my favorite flowers now!

This is a photo of my daughter taken in 2011. It was a day at the park and there were geese in the background. I thought of this photo when I saw the little stickers in the kit and one of them said "fresh duck eggs" ( not quite a duck but close enough!)

The leaves are Heartfelt Creations Stamps. The leaf die cut is the CottageCutz "Leafy Foliage" die.
I created the flowers with Tim Holtz Tattered Floral and Pinecone dies.

My final project is a photo of yours truly. I cut that black die cut on my Cameo. I have resolved to use that machine more this year!

The flowers are Heartfelt Creations and I layered them then outlined them in puffy paint. After the paint dries I just hit it with a heat gun and the paint puffs up. I made the little inner flowers with the netting in the kit.

The flourishes are also stamps I believe they are Inkadinkado Flourishes. I stamped them on some of the pattern paper and then cut them out.

Don't forget to stop by Scraps of Elegance and grab a kit for yourself!

Thank you for the visit today and all your kind comments!
