ONCE UPON A SKETCH
&
DONNA SALAZAR
I'm combining these challenges for November!
OUAS has an "anything goes" this month
just need to use the sketch and provide journaling
This is Nadia's gorgeous sketch and my take on it...
Donna Salazars challenge this month is to create a layout or card about something you are thankful for and use the color brown, a tag and at least one Donna Salazar product...
My journaling is on my TAG and reads "thank you for loving me even when I am unlovable"
I am so thankful for my wonderful husband who has been by my side for 26 years. I take him for granted and want him to know how loved and appreciated he is.
Gonna give him this layout. Hope he likes it. :)
I have used Donna's papers that were included in our Scraps of Elegance kit "Country Charm" featuring "Botanique" by Donna.
I also used Donna's Spellbinders dies "Carnation Creations" along with the Heartfelt Creations stamps that match it.

Oh my oh my this is a STUNNER for sure!! Absolutely gorgeous colours and details, just love love love this!! I am dead sure your hubbs will love getting it.
I have a question . How did you make the " lace up " on your page ?
Hi there!
All I did to make the lacing was to cut a out a triangular shape from the top of the page. I ink the edges then just take an embroidery needle and polk holes across from each other. I used a few strands of embroidery floss and lace it gluing down the ends of the string underneath the page. I hope that helps! :)
OMG!!! Lisa, this is absolutely breathtaking! Thanks so much for playing along with us at OUAS:-)
