September's Kit

"My Guy"

I have a couple of layouts to share today using this fabulous kit Melinda put together for September!

It features the beautiful Prima Craftsman papers!

This is a photo of my husband and daughter at a father daughter dance many years ago. :)

• The border treatment is a postage stamp edge I do by hand. Tutorial can be found here
• I used Tim Holtz masks in the background and on the photo
• The hinge is chipboard piece and I used distress embossing powder on it by Ranger

• I made the accordian flowers using my score board

• The flourishes are a Spellbinders die "Floral 
• flourishes"

This is a photo of my daughter on a senior photo shoot just about a month ago.

• I wanted to show how these papers could be used for a girly layout
• I used a lot of stamps on the background and around the edges

The chipboard was covered in molding paste and then when I dried it I sprayed Lindys mist on it

• The leaves are Heartfelt Creations and the beautiful flower, ballon and Ingvild Junkyard embellishments were included in our kit
