Design Team Reveal

Featuring Scraps of Darkness May Kit

"Summer Breeze"

The Main Kit is filled with hand selected Prima, Simple Stories and Little Yellow Bicycle just for you...

My first layout that I am sharing this month was inspired by Charlottes sketch~

I took this photo of some sunflowers in a huge field near our home. I printed out
the photos twice and cut a circle out of the sunflowers and adhered it to the Kaisercraft wooden flourishes. I did some fussy cutting of the papers and cut out the bicycle. The sunny papers from Prima are perfect for this photo.

The flowers on this layout were created with the Heartfelt Creations Posy Patch Collection Dies~

My next layout is of a photo I took of an antique Sewing Machine that is in my collection. I used to sew as business at one time being a Master Seamstress but have lost my passion for it over the years. I love antiques and have a few of these machines in my collection.

The zipper on this layout is by Maya Road and came in our kit. The Simple Stories papers are a wonderful backdrop for this vintage style photo. I used a new Spellbinders Die "Persian Accents" and a new EK Success Punch Scroll Pattern Punch~
I made the flowers with Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die and the leaves are the Swirly Leaves from Heartfelt Creations~
This is a stock photo of some cute little girl I got off google. I printed the photo in two sizes and layered on one the other. The flourishes are Dusty Attic which I added from my stash. I loved using the Prima papers with the sunflowers on it. Perfect for a Sunday Picnic ~

The butterflies were cut on my Cameo. This month I used a lot of the small alphabets both in our kit and on hand. I like to stick them to card stock and cut around them. I ink the edges with distress ink.

I loved using the Jillbean Corrugated Cardboard in RED in this kit! My favorite color! This is a photo I took of a bike in my yard. I like to use antiques or just plain old stuff in my yard too.

This gorgeous leather flower is by Prima and we also got some metal bottle caps in the kit with a patina paint in the color add on. I had a lot of fun working with that~
This project is a card I created using more of the beautiful papers and chipboard from the Summer Breeze kit and some stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations~~~~

I hope you enjoyed the reveal and will visit Scraps of Darkness and the other designers to see what they have done with this kit....
