Scraps of Elegance and Heartfelt Creations!

This week I used papers from the fabulous FEBRUARY kit "VINTAGE ELEGANCE" from the new kit club SCRAPS OF ELEGANCE and combined it with my design team work for HEARTFELT CREATIONS.
I once again enjoyed working with the new release "Floral Cross Collection"

I used a vintage image this week for my layout.

I stamped the background page in two different distress inks and colored my flowers and the candles with scroll in watercolor pencils and chalk ink.

Other supplies: Kaisercraft papers, Martha Stewart and EK success punches, Seam Binding, Glimmer Mist, Distress Ink, Chalk Ink, Watercolor Pencils, Prima say it in crystals, rhinestones, Glitter, Vintage dictionary pages, pearls, Websters sparklers, Cardstock, stickles

Trim one sheet of pattern paper down 1 inch on all sides and punch around the page with a Martha Stewart punch. Adhere to page and stamp around the left edge and top of that page with the Twinings Clematis Precut Set. Die cut a shape of your choice and use an EK success ribbon punch on the straight edge. Glimmer mist a length of seam binding and let dry. Weave through the punched edge and make a bow at the bottom. Attach a Websters sparkler to bow center. Adhere to right side of page. Tear or cut around the edge of a dictionary page to create jagged edges and ink with distress ink.

Adhere off center to page as shown. Punch 4 edges of a dictionary page with an EK success punch and ink. Attache photo to center of dictionary page and tuck edge strips under photo to create a mat effect and glue down. Cut two Layered Elegant Swirl Die pieces in a coordinating paper. Layer under the photo at the top and bottom. Cut a semi circle out of the same paper as the die cut and layer under photo as shown. Cut a strip of paper appx. 3.5 inches and punch both edges. Stamp with the Twining Clematis Precut set in two different color distress inks. Adhere across bottom of page. Place rhinestones across the strip in intervals. Cut Leaves from the Bella Rose die in a green cardstock, wrinkle leaves and ink. Adhere to right bottom corner of photo. Die cut the small lilies from the Cross and Lilies Die and stamp with the Pristine Lilies Precut Set. Use chalk ink to color the lilies and adhere center with a pearl. Attach to leaves as shown. Stamp the candles and scroll with the Butterflies and Lilies precut set. Color with watercolor pencils and attach to the corner of the photo. Cut out butterflies from a pattern paper and spread some stickles in over the butterflies and sprinkle on glitter. Attach to page as shown. Adhere a prima say it in crystals to the page under the larger butterfly as shown. Stamp the word hugs with the stamp from the Cross and Lilies precut set and die cut a shape for it with the Blossoms 3 Nestabilities. Adhere near flowers and ribbon.
