I host a challenge that runs bi monthly over at Scraps of Darkness. Each time I give the participants a prompt to work with and I incorporate some scrappy type of challenge along with it. This months challenge is titled Patterns - Friendships. The participants are to examine their friendships over the years and define a pattern they see in them. The scrappy challenge part of it is to print their photo on something other than photo paper, like vellum, transparency, cardstock etc. Anyone can join in this challenge you do not have to use Scraps of Darkness supplies to play along. You can check out the details of this challenge here.
Here is my page for the challenge titled Moving On.
I printed my photo on vellum and layered it over a script pattern paper. Most of the supplies on here are from previous Scraps of Darkness kits. The leaves are from my Heartfelt Creations Collection. This one is the HCPC 2254 Leafy Swirls Precut Set. I used packaging from Prima flowers to lace up on the side. I love using packaging on my layouts. They make them so pretty!
