Round Robin at Scraps of Darkness

This month I'm following Renea's awesome layout for our groups Round Robin challenge.  I was very inspired by her blue and orange combination and thought I would use that color scheme myself.
This is a photo of me! ( I wish!!!!)
I'm a fan of the Lady Gaga so I thought I would scrap this fabulous photo of her! The blue, orange and polka dot papers are all from the Scraps of Darkness "All Hallows Eve" kit.
I used my large Tim Holtz Grungeboard letter for the G. I ran the letters through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder. I used a blue Smooch to color the letters then went over them with Shimmerz Pixie Dust.
I made the flowers using the daisy portion of the Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die. I layered them using about 4 per flower. I took apart one of the blue flowers in the kit and  used them in the flower centers and then created the innermost center of the flower with a punch. Each flower was outlined in a peach colored Scribbles paint. The leaves are The Leafy Swirls Precut Set  from Heartfelt Creations.
I used one of the transparencies in the kit over the photo.

Hop on over to Scraps of Darkness to see what the gals created!

I applaud your scrapping abilities! This is something that just never happened for me! I really tried, but my pages were plain and unhappy! You have a wonderful talent and I look forward to seeing more of your creations!

SOD really had a great kit for October! Love this fiery, eye catching, ridiculously fabulous page! I have so much grungeboard lettering and love how this was painted and embossed! One of my favorite things to see is older elements incorporated in with the new stuff. The flowers are gorgeous girlie!!!
