Round Robin at Scraps of Darkness

My turn this week for the Round Robin at SOD. I am following Ashley and oh boy what an awesome layout she created for me to follow. Although that girl did lots of hand stitching on hers! Not me tho.

Tag Your It

( I am aware it should be you're but I did not want the ' in there. I don't feel layouts have to be grammatically correct... because it's art and there are no rules. ;)

On this layout I used our fabulous "Passages" kit from Scraps of Darkness. I masked the background with smooch spray. I typically grow fond of a punch with each kit. This month I have been going with that postal, notebook type theme on a lot of my layouts. I used the notebook punch again on this one. I love it.

I pulled out those grunge board letters again. I ran the "it" through the cuttlebug with an embossing folder and then colored the letters with black and red paint dabber acrylic paints. After applying the paints I wiped them off with a paper towel until I liked how it looked.
I used the brick wall stamp we received in our kit and stamped on a scrap paper. Then I tore the paper into a few pieces and inked the edges. I also bought a scoreboard so I could make my own pleated flowers like the Tim Holtz kind only no die needed!

Come on over to Scraps of Darkness and check out the beautiful kits and fun forums!
