I have more layouts to share over the next couple of weeks from the wonderful "Marrakesh Express" kit from Scraps of Darkness. I wanted to take these next layouts in more shabby elegant direction to show how versatile this kit is!
I used the beautiful teal cardstock to create my leaves and used it in the background with one of my punches. I also used the solid side of one of the Marrakesh papers. I decided to revisit an old tool, my deckle edge scissors. I used those on the background paper I shaped and the leaves which were created from a sizzix die.
As I mentioned in a previous post I used canvas paper on another layout I did and also on this one to print my photo on. It gives a nice linen fabric look. Photography credit: Gina Coppolino Photography.
I made the big flower using my tattered floral die and ink. I used one of the H2O's we received in our color add on to color my little yellow flowers with a touch of reddish orange.
Stay tuned for more of this beautiful kit!
