Scraps of Darkness May Design Team Reveal!!!!

Introducing "NOW AND ZEN"
The May Kit from  SCRAPS OF DARKNESS is so breathtaking it left me speechless! Filled to the brim with the stunning Christine Adolph papers "Sakura" oh my!!!! Lot's of Prima florals, Dusty attic, rub ons and stamps plus Craftysprinkles treated us to some beautifully decorated chopsticks! The Color Add on is a must have with the gorgeous selection of starburst mists and moonshadow and a canvas to create on to boot!!! Mel also has a new add on called Flora and Fauna! It's to die for! Go check it out over at Scraps of Darkness. Here is a small peek at the new kit.

Auntie

My first layout was created using SuePups awesome sketch for us this month!

On this layout I used a prima mask in the background along with some misting. I did a lot of fussy cutting to create the dimensional flowers out of the patterened paper. I also created some little fan like flowers with curls and dipped them in diamond dust. The birdcage and letters on the photo are rub ons that were in the kit!

Enchanted Forest

I had so much fun creating this layout I cannot even tell you!

I took a photo of my dd and extracted her from it and then using a digi kit I created the enchanted forest background in the photo and placed her in it! Pretty cool eh?
The gorgeous magical papers in this kit totally inspired me to created this magical setting for her.
I fussy cut the tree out of the paper and the circular globes were lanterns on one of the papers that I recreated. I used my prima stencil again to add the floral misted look to the papers. The swan was Dusty Attic in our kits and I painted it with several colors then added diamond dust to it.

Garden Time

This kit just spoke garden and summertime to me!

We received these Pink Paislee tissue paper pieces in the kit and I misted them for a ton of shimmer and layered them over and under my punched circle. The gate I cut on my silhouette and used micro beads to decorate it. We also received these adorable umbrellas in our kit. I cut mine up and made little bell type flowers out of them. The butterflies on the gate were stamped on vellum. This is another photo I did some editing on. This was actually a pic of dd at the beach. I extracted her from that setting and put her in a field of flowers! I also used a Florabella action on the photo. I love photoshop!!!!

Our Day

The last layout that I have to share today is one taken on my Wedding Day.

I misted and stamped my fan and then added the flowers and bling to it. These papers really called to be fussy cut. As you can see I cut the little flowers and used pop up adhesive squares to lift them off the page.  The flower on the right is my "Deceptive Daisy" that I will coming out with a tutorial for soon!

I'll be sharing more creations over the next few weeks from this outstanding kit! I hope you stop by Scraps of Darkness and check out the full reveal of the kit and all the beautiful work the other designers have come up with!

Thank you for the visit today! I hope you leave here inspired.
