A Girl Can Dream...

...and that's all I'm going to say about that.

I knocked out a few layouts this week using GORGEOUS Prima papers. I have a full arsenal of Prima...papers, butterflies...bling and oh my the flowers I have on hand! I have a Prima garden growing in my scraproom!

Free Spirit

I purchased the beautiful Strawberry Kisses papers one night during a 2:00 a.m. Prima shopping spree. (hee hee) I fussy cut this one (my favorite tech) and used lots of Prima blooms and tiny roses. I snagged the brick wall stamp off ebay (I had been wanting one of those for a long time) and stamped the wall and misted with glimmer mist. I am trying to add more journaling to my layouts. My dd has such a zestful spirit. Her energy and passion for life amazes me at times. Photography credit: Gina Coppolino

Is It Spring Yet
On this layout I used the new Prima Moulin Rouge Papers. I love the deep rich browns of this one. I did a lot of layering here and used this new gorgeous Prima butterfly with little rose blooms for the body. I embossed my cream cardstock on the cuttlebug then used a sizzix die to cut the leaves out.
I also ripped the punched edgesof the square frame outside the photo for added texture and interest.

I used the words from The Beatles song "Here Comes The Sun" for my journal. This photo is of my dd taken by my friend Gina.

Fresh
This layout is again using Primas Moulin Rouge papers. I love the plum tones to this one! This is my dd and the title is meaning Fresh in a clean fresh face way (although she can be fresh in a way that only a 16 year old can be.) I opened up a bit in the background (like a tear) and used a prima stamp on the green paper. I also used a beautiful Prima stencil. I mixed in some hydrangea blooms along with the vine. Lots of layering here another of my favorite techs to do. I also ran a Florabella action on my photo and added a plum texture to give the whole photo a plum undertone to match the papers.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs to my faithful blogging friends. xo
