My World

This layout was influenced by the styles of Larissa Albernaz and Heidi Kelly. Two amazingly talented artists who happen to be two of my favorites. I have been trying on a more playful artsy whimsical style and look to these ladies for inspiration.
Hence- "My World" was born!
I used the beautiful, bold, color saturated papers of GCD's Artsy Urban paper for this layout. I cut the window out on my Silhouette and used a technique involving household caulking to create a stucco look on my window. (I will be doing a tut shortly- stay tuned) I also used my crackle stamp ( I told you I would using that a lot) on a piece of transparency paper and adhered that to the sticker frame to make it look like a window. I jumped on the Prima "Build a Frame" stamp set wagon and I used them on this page. I ADORE THOSE STAMPS!!!! (thanks for the inspiration Lisa G!) I did more stamping with other Prima stamps I have on hand inside the window. That is my dd who I cut out of a photo. That technique lends itself so well to these type of layouts.

Here are some close ups:

Hope you are inspired by this and try out this technique some time. It is great fun!
Thank you for the visit! I love and appreciate all your kind comments!
