Twas The Night Before Xmas

For this layout I used The Bo Bunny papers "Noel Collection." This is a photo of my dd's taken a few years ago. I printed the photo out a few times to get the look of multiple pages in the book. I thought this was a great picture for these papers that also had the books on them.

I actually cut the books that are layered around the photo out of the paper so I could arrange them how I wanted on the page. I LOVE to fussy cut! I used a template to make the scalloped edge circle and used liquid pearls around it. I also inked and distressed the edges. The edge of the gold paper is a MS punch I had to have. You will probably be seeing a lot of that in my next layouts!

This is a close up of the Santa I cut out. I used crackle accents on his face and I used white flocking on his beard and hat.  I sprayed the whole layout in a lot of glimmer mist for a gorgeous sparkle.
The Reindeer are painted with a white paint dabber, then I went over them with  gold perfect pearls.
I also used a TH mask for the clock in the background!

I probably won't have any new projects till after Christmas. See the countdown up above on my blog! I'm not ready! Yikes!
Have a Happy Holiday All and many blessings for the New Year!

Beautiful layout, love the book idea, and how you've explained what you did. Great idea to Glimmer Mist it for that extra sparkle.
