STOP HOARDING!!!!

LOL that's a current challenge going on over at Swirlydoos! I do not hoard. However I do find that when a new kit comes in I tend to forget about what is left over from past kits. Not on purpose, just not enough time in the day to keep up with it all.

So in the spirit of this challenge I pulled out papers from last falls Swirlydoos kit and some other older supplies I have had on hand and created two layouts.

This first one is a photo of some bittersweet which grows wild in my yard. I do not have a DSLR camera, although it is on my wish list. I wanted the bittersweet to "pop" on this photo but couldn't get the effect so I cropped three photos and layered them on each other for the dimension I was looking for.
The leaves are colored with two different distress inks and glimmer mist. Those butterflies are a basic grey paper that is all butterflies. I have had that on hand a long time too. I used stickles and glitter on them. The chipboard flourish is Dusty Attic and the small brown roses were a vine from Angelica.
I used ink on the DA and cut the flourish in half to fit my layout. I also did some surgery on Angelicas vine to make it work on my layout.
This next layout is a photo of one of my kitties! ( I have 3) This one is Marshmellow. He is my favorite but sssshhh!!!! Don't tell the other two!

This is more paper from last fall, except for the "Escape" paper which is current. I did some photoshop work on my kitty. I will be posting a tutorial on how to use textures and adjustment layers to change the background on a photo. I cut those hinges on my Silhouette. I made little paper curls around my flowers. I also made the flowers loosly following Lisa ( StarSailor) tutorial on Tuscan Flowers. For these I added a laye of vellum. I misted the whole flower and inked it. I also outlined the edges in liquid pearls.
Thank you for the blog visit today!

Hugs~ Lisa
