My Girl

I am having so much fun with the "Simply Irresistible" kit from Swirlydoos!!! You should see what a mess my scrap desk is! Yikes! It is covered in paper, embellies and paints...oh my!!!

Here is one I just finished for Craftysprinkles challenge over at Swirlydoos, called curves. We needed to use two circles. One had to be a ring. The blue circle behind my photo is a ring but I sort of got carried away with my flowers and covered up the part you could see! Yikes!
I'm loving this color combo! I did not not, unfortunately get the paper add on this month so I used a piece of K & Co paper in the background. Which led me into this color scheme and worked perfectly with those gorgeous prima flowers we got in our kit. I painted and misted the DA lampost then used some stickles on it. The butterfly was a stamp in the kit and I used that on a patterened paper then outlined in stickles. I used a little rosebud for the butterfly body and the stem of the rosebud I cut off and used for the antenna's.
Love that fringe in the kit! I love it in the white and haven't altered any of mine yet! I also adore those cardboard letters!!! I also used the prima packaging as a piece of paper tucked over near the lamp.
