I am on the last of my Simply Irresistible kit! I've got one more layout to post after this one then I will be grieving the end of this fabulous kit!
I was inspired by LisaG (Starsailorscrapper) layout called "Imagine" to do this layout. I have had a photo of daughters baby feet since I had it taken when she was 4 wks old. I did not like how the photographer took the photo. So I finally played around with it in PSE. A really fun feature in PSE is the image transform, change perspective and rotate menu. You can change the angle of photo and sometimes it makes ALL the difference.
I changed the angle of this photo then added an action to it and used a Holly McCaig frame on it! Now I love it! I cut a scalloped edge on the cardboard and painted it white, used a blue glimmer mist on it and some blue ink. I could not get my Prima jewelry to work with this layout and I really wanted those flowers on here, so I cut off the bead and ribbon and used it as the butterfly body!
The letters were a plain chipboard, I used a pewter crackle paint, then blue ink over it. I used a little black marker to outline the letters a bit. The butterfly was cut on my Silhouette and I detailed it with silver stickles.
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit me!
