All Girl

Oh man! I'm in LOVE with the November "Simply Irresistible" Swirlydoos kit!!!!! This kit has so much potential to do so many different things for a range of looks!!!! The resist papers allow you so much creative freedom to go in any direction you choose. I am really going shabby with these first two layouts I have created! I'm loving all the girly goodies in this kit!

This first layout I created for Swirlydoos November sketch challenge. The sketch is by the talented artist Beggahuna.
I slipped in one sheet of K & Company paper that I had in my stash! That would be the background with the blue roses on it. I inked the Pink Paislee resist paper, in green and lavender. The Pink Paislee Artisan Element ring I used my black souffle pen on. The dress form is Dusty Attic. I painted it with my paint dabber in white then used a crackle over it. I then went over it in a brown chalk to bring out the crackle lines. I took the Maya Road white doily from last months kit and cut it to make it look like a skirt. I then layered that gorgeous fringe trim from our current kit over it.
The vines were cut on my Silhouette then inked and I bent them for some dimension.  I used a lot of the stamps from our kit on the background paper. I stamped the butterfly and then glittered it. I used some leftover Prima beaded swirls for the butterfly body. I also added them in among the vines and used a tiny piece on the dress form as a necklace! (Don't be afraid to take your Prima swirls apart to fit your layouts!)
