This 12x12 artisan shape acrylic came in our Swirlydoos kit this month! I decided to try another version of using acrylic and used a layer of paper on the background. I actually glued the background to cardboard and then lifted the acrylic off the background with several foam mount dots. I think I am going to frame this piece and hang it rather than book it. :)
I used red smooch ink on the acrylic and inked the edges in black. I used one rub on near the flowers at the top of the page. The papers are from the Mon Amour kit this month. I also used a Dusty attic piece that came in the kit. I made the little striped flowers and the leaves were a digital stamp that I printed and colored with red. I had that leathery ribbon on hand and used that for my bow!
The fabulous photo was taken by my friend Gina (Gina Coppolino Photography)
