This is another layout I did using the beautiful August kit from Swirlydoos! This is for Lisa's (StarSailor) challenge over there!
This is me, 24 years ago. Ahhh so young and thin. Those days are gone!
Anyway, I wet distressed the edges of the brown paper, inked the very bottom layer and distressed. I cut the flourishes from tracing the chippee in the kit. I chalked the edges of them then used Rock Candy Crackle and Diamond Dust on them. I made the pearl swirl with liquid pearls paint. The photo is edited using a Stacked Photo Action by Scrap Girls. I also, used a texture on it, (the photo was taken outside on the grass and my flowers were white) I colored them pink! Oh another thing I did was cut up my MS scallop punch border into about 2 or 3 scallops then inserted them inside the circle. They lay down easy that way and you can shape them to any shape using that technique!
