This is a layout I completed for the "scrap your fave" challenge over at sb.com. I used Robin Shakoors
"DAD" layout as my fave to lift. This photo is of my dearly beloved grandfather who passed away about 8 years ago at the ripe old age of 92! He was THE most wonderful papa a grandaughter could have asked for. I have such wonderful memories to cherish and will need to do a long journaling piece to attach to the back of the page to record those memories. Of course, I did not appreciate it when he was alive but looking back on it I realize how very fortunate I was to have him.
Just about everything is from the beautiful ** June Antebellum kit over at SWIRLYDOOS** If you have never visited there it's a must! Gorgeous kits and talented members with loads of inspiration!
I just received my new Zutter Distress it all and used that on my edges! The chipee frame is a Dusty Attic piece that was in my kit. The leaves are a sizzix die. Used my MS border punches. There are some ZVA swirls that I cut apart so I could fit them where I wanted. The clock you see was in the add on embellie kit at Swirlydoos. I missed out on that one but managed to find one in my LSS. I kept the DA raw because I liked the look and I did not use any inks or paints on this page. I rather liked the clean and raw finish on the edges. Thanks for visiting me today and I enjoy your comments! So appreciated! xo
