My friend Tina is hosting one of this months challenges over at Swirlydoos! The challenge is layer and distress! At least 6 layers and heavily distress the layout!
Here is what i came up with...
I used Prima Pastiche mostly and some K & Co paper. For my distressing I used my scallop edge scissors and just run them along the edge of the paper. I find using those deco scissors and scraping the edging gives a nice distress look plus tears the paper a bit. I did not use any ink so the edges would look nice and frayed. I did a lot of stitching on the paper edges. I also ran a piece of light green tulle around the page for a filmy look and adding zing!
I cut the flourishes on my Silhouette and hand cut the details out of the Prima paper.
I used prima flowers but made ribbon roses for the smaller primas and attached them to the center.
And of course that gorgeous chipboard piece framing the photo is Dusty Attic. I used glimmer mist and chalk ink to give it that wine color!
Thanks for stopping by today! I love your visits and comments! Have a wonderful day! x0x0

Hello Lisa,
This is stunning and magical at the same time! Love all the details. I read your profile, wow, you're a quick learner.
Thank you for your sweet comment on my mini lay-out Kisses by the Sea. The shells are all stamped and cut out. I'm always using the plain colored paper from the Basic Grey mini-pads. It's very easy and fast way to create nice colors for your stamps.
I'm wishing you lots of good inspiration!
Kind regards, Odetta
