On a roll now with this kit! If I could just lock myself in my scraproom and leave the children to fend for themselves I could just keep going and going.
I did some color splashing on this photo which is my new fav thing to do. Using the beautiful March kit, I chalked the paper edges, used paint and a crackle medium on the chippy and inked the flourish black. I cut some of the paper from the kit to cover the chippy letters. I added the birds (i love birds) and that cute little glass bubble on the butterfly is something I had on hand. I really love how this lo came out. I love this photo of my dd.
I used my deco edge scissors on this one. I am into using them lately, putting an new spin on the ruffled edge so to speak. This paper reminds me of fabric. I love the shabby chic look of it. I inked the edges, used the CI circle paper and punched smaller circles from scraps. I used ribbon from last months kit and flowers from past kits too. I took apart the flowers that were in this months kit and put the lilies in the center of the white flowers then sprinkled the smaller ones around. I cut strips from the velvet paper and edge punched them for my photo mat. That stickpin was in the kit and was from Mandy (Craftysprinkles)

Beautiful LO's. That paper does give a fabric feel. I really like the edges done that way too.
They are all so gorgeous!
