Our beautiful April kit is filled with Bo Bunny Mamarazzi , Kaisercraft In the Attic and of course some Prima. Spectacular!

This is my take on the sketch this month. I used a silhouette cut of my daughters photo and the camera in the Bo Bunny Noteworthy Die cuts. This photo of her was taken on a photo shoot and she was a tad bit tired of having her photo taken that day! LOL
The background is a combination of spraying mists and pouring them on for drips. I've used an old set of stamps as well and inked them up with the Tim Holz Distress Paints in the Color Add On.

The chipboard film strip is from Gina's Designs. I sprayed it with several different color mists.

I used a lot of the Bo Bunny Mamarazzi Rub Ons here.

This kit is filled with great embellishments such as the Fancy Pants clips.

...And Bo Bunny Mamarazzi Buttons.

This is a photo of me when I was little and my Grandpa. He was the best grandpa is the world. He had a crew cut when I was little and I remember how I used to love to brush my hand along the top of it.

I used a lot of misting in the background. Lots of layering as well.

Some fussy cutting on the papers, stitching and die cut leaves.

This layout is another of my daughter with some silhouette cut photos.

I die cut the film strips with a sizzix die. We received the awesome Kaisercraft Mask in our color add on and I used that with modeling paste.

The die cut leaves are from Heartfelt Creations.
The gorgeous pin is included in the kit and an exclusive creation by Craftysprinkles (Mandy) just for us!

My final layout is for the Round Robin at Scraps of Darkness. This is a photo of my newest kitty Jinx. We call him Jinxsy. I should have called him trouble because that is what he spends most of his time getting into.

I used the gorgeous Kaisercraft papers here. The chandelier is from Gina's Designs. It's totally gorgeous and I covered it in two of the Distress Paints in our color add on. Then I went over it in a crackle medium.

These are some of the blooms in this months kit complimented with some die cut leaves.

The key plate is also a design from Gina's. This one is just coated in gesso and inked.

I hope you enjoyed todays reveal and be sure to stop by Scraps of Darkness to see what the other designers are up to!

Kinda Krafty

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing some tags created with the featured product for the month
"Kinda Krafty"

We are also teaming up with Therm O Web this month!

I created my tags mixed media style, layering paints, modeling paste with masks and Kinda Krafty products. I have used the Therm O Web tape runner to adhere my paper layers.

On my tags I have used the cute chipboard owl, leaves, birds, buttons and even the letter "M" turned on it's side.
My chipboard is colored with inks to match the theme of my tag! Therm O Web Glue dots were used on all my tags to keep the cute chipboard pieces in place.

CottageCutz

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing a tag I created with the beautiful new This N That collection. This collection is full of so many cute tags, envelopes and notecards.

I layered the Large Confectionery Bag over my tag and inked the edges. I printed the quote out, cut the words apart and inked the edges.

I cut out the fancy insert card/ tag and added it to the envelope.  The tag is so cute and I added the Mini Dragonfly to it. A little cheesecloth and a pin add a shabby touch.

Thank you for your visit today! Have a great week!

Today I am sharing
a
Butterfly Mini Album Cover And Tag

The technique I have created a tutorial for is one I was inspired by that Lisa Gregory mentioned using on her chipboard. I changed up a few things but Lisa was my inspiration...as always!

I created a butterfly mini album and I am sharing the cover and a tag from it today along with the tutorial. Next week I will be sharing all the inner pages in a separate post!

I created this album with beautiful 13 Arts papers found in the January Scraps of Elegance Kit

Prima April BAP
Ginas Designs Lasarcuts

Playing along with Primas BAP for April. I created a mixed media canvas. I have used Gina's Designs Butterflies and Word Phrases on this piece. Gina has some wonderful new word phrases and they are a particular favorite of mine. I think they add so much to a project. Her butterflies are GORGEOUS! You know I love butterflies!

My first step was to apply gesso to the background. Then I began layering mists, dripping and splatters.
Once that was complete I stamped a garden on the bottom edge with Prima stamps.

More random stamping and a silhouette cut photo.
I kept the chipboard technique simple as i just wanted a simple earthy look to them. The phrase was inked and the butterflies were sprayed with Lindy's Starburst Mists.

The quote is a rub on and I went over it in spots with tiny alphas.

The paper is Prima's Fairy Flora and of course the flowers are Prima too. :)

Thank you for the blog visit today! Have a great weekend!

CottageCutz
So Glad You're My Friend Card

Hey Everyone! Today I am a sharing a card I created using CottageCutz Blossom Branch  and Scalloped Doily Die!

I punched the edges of green cardstock with the Martha Stewart Floral Crochet punch. The little girl and fence were fussy cut from some pattern papers.

Here I have used the Blossom Branch die and inked the branch and florals with distress inks. The Scalloped Doily Die was cut from a pattern paper. I placed a white circle of cardstock beneath it to have the pattern of the doily show up more.

A little sentiment and bow to finish it off!

Ruby Rock it

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing a layout I created with the beautiful Mother Nature line from Ruby Rock it. A perfect collection for spring! We are teaming up this month with Therm O Web and I have used their wonderful adhesive products on my page.

This is a photo of Dogwood Tree branch in bloom in my yard. The edges of the paper were punched and I used masking in the background. My backgound paper was attached using Therm O Webs Super Tape. I love this stuff!!!

The flowers on here were created using the Spellbinders Rose Creation Die. I used puffy paint on the edges. I have also used the Tattered Pinecone die to create my roses and of course some Heartfelt Creations stamping for the leaves. Ruby Rock It carries beautiful bling and here I cut mine up to fit my page. Therm O Webs Zots work perfectly to adhere leaves, florals and chipboard. I used these zots all over my page!

The bird flourish is by Gina's Designs Lasarcuts. I covered mine is Lindys mist and then a glaze for some nice sheen.
