Today is the design team reveal of the beautiful May Kit "Yesterdays"
This is a stunning kit with top of the line manufacturers- Pink Paislee, Authentique and Prima!!!
Those gorgeous doilies are from Gina's Designs!!!
This months sketch by our talented sketch artist Charlotte.
My take on the sketch this month.
This is a photo of my daughter and I taken a loooong time ago.
Last month our fabulous guest designer Lisa Gregory showed us how to make these beautiful dogwood blossoms. I happened to have a sizzix die called flower and leave and the shape of the petals was perfect to create this flower. After I ran my die through I cut each petal off and adhered it to a circle. I inked the petals as Lisa showed us in her tutorial. I did my own thing with the centers using a small flower punch to create this look.
This months kit features these beautiful mistables and trinkets. I added a chipboard word phrase from Gina's Designs. Mel really knows how to pack a kit full of goodness. I used a mistable banner and some of the beautiful yellow toned petaloo florals.
Our kit this month also included these spectacular laser cut doilies from Gina's Designs as well as the beautiful bird cage.

For my next project I used some of the beautiful Prima papers.
My background paper is light pink cardstock from our cardstock add on. I misted it with Lindys and sewed the edges.
This is a photo of my daughter when she was a babe. I chose a circle themed design for this project.
I fussy cut the fairy from the Prima paper. Take a peek at these doilies from Gina's - gorgeous eh?
The word phrase is also Gina's. Lot's of beautiful Petaloo in this months kit!
I die cut Spellbinders leaves and CottageCutz leaves on this page.
Just a little close up of the title. I used Lindys directly on the chipboard. In real life it has a fantastic shimmer which is hard to pick up in the photo.
