We are also thrilled to announce
our
October guest designer
  Stacey Young
...and here is a look at this months sketch...
My first layout is based on this sketch.
** Always Look Up**

I used a lot of layers on this page to emphasis the beauty of the Websters. Those papers really call you to fussy cut them. Well at least they call me.

This is a photo of my beautiful niece that I snagged of facebook. I did not take the photo. Sadly she lives too far away!
 I love to scrap her!
I created the butterflies files to match our kit and you can get some if you are a subscriber to our kits!
The leaves are the Heartfelt Creations Leafy Swirl stamps that are discontinued there but if you google you can still find them.
They are my all time faves!
I also made my own large flowers with Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossoms Die. I softly inked the edges with Cats Eye inks.
The banner die is the Tim Holtz one. I love that Prima now has these small alphas! There were so many different fonts in the package!

**Be Inspired Forever**
I just adore this Glitz paper line! the beautiful blue and pink!
I felt this paper called for a playful design. I fussy cut my daughter and placed her on a Dusty Attic chipboard chair.
Of course she lounging on that beautiful trim we received in our
 kit.

I trimmed off some punching and added it to my page.
The flowers are stamps from Heartfelt Creations. Another of my favorites called Botanical Florals.
I used a small butterfly stamp and stamped my page with it. The I stamped it again, colored it and cut it out. I adhered it to the page over my stamped image for dimension.
**Love Is All Around**
More Websters along with Prima were put to use on this page.
I layered and fussy cut. My favorite techniques!
We received a beautiful flocked transparency and I cut that up and tucked it within my layers.
I also put my cameo to use and cut those pink flourishes with it.
I inked the edges of my fussy cut flowers, then used some stickles along that edge. I added some beads to the flower centers and cut up the gorgeous lace, tucking it in as though it were spilling from those suitcases.
I layered the beautiful paper roses we received in our kits on top of the fussy cut flowers. I inked the chipboard leaves with a blue chalk ink.

My last project is a canvas I created for Scraps of Elegance and Prima's September BAP. My new favorite thing is molding paste. I know you all have been using it forever but I think I am really starting to take off in the mixed media canvas area. I really love making a small canvas.
What didn't I do here really? The background is a combination of many different mists. I used Prima mistables, fussy cut the Zephyr papers, used a prima stencil with molding paste, a prima bird stamp, the lightbulb was in our SOD kit for September.
It wouldn't be one of my projects if some punching wasn't showing up somewhere! The Dusty Attic birdhouse was in my stash and perfect for this piece. I also love the cute ladybug bottlcap. A Prima delight!
Be sure to stop in Scraps of Elegance, have a look at our beautiful kit and add on"s and enjoy what our talented design team has created.

Many heartfelt thanks for all your visits and kind comments. They are very much appreciated! xoxo
