Prima October BAP
I'm playing along with the October BAP over at Prima. Here is the sketch this month!

Here is my take on the sketch!

I used some Prima papers in my stash "Fairy Flora"
that I have been keeping on hand for just his occasion!

  • I used Prima stamps in the background along tattered angels mists
  • The letters are Ranger Grungeboard Large letters. I had this idea in my head of this photo I took a long time ago of my daughter doing an okay sign over her eye.
  • The flowers, chipboard, mistables and resins were all goodies from past Scraps of Elegance kits.

Round Robin
Scraps of Darkness
I'm playing along with the round robin this month and I am following Jenny who followed Kathy!
I have used my
Scraps of Darkness
Morticia's Wish kit
 for
 October

This is a photo of a chair in my yard. An old wicker one that's a bit falling apart. Very primitive looking. I added a black and white action in photoshop and made this favorite chair of mine "creepy chair"

  • I used molding paste and distress inks with the same mask. I dripped some orange tattered angels for splashes of color
  • All the goodies on the page were included in the kit
  • I cut the gate out by hand. It came from one of the Graphic 45 papers

The chipboard frame is Dusty Attic. I painted it black then went over it with gesso.

Tag Swap

I'm hosting a tag swap over at SOD and my partner is Kathy from Alaska!
I created my tag using the Scraps of Darkness Morticia's Wish kit

This image was from some of the Graphic 45 papers in the kit. I also used a resist technique on the tag.
I used a stamp with white embossing powder and then rubbed my distress ink pads onto a craft mat. I then spritzed the mat with water and rubbed the tag in it. I blotted the tag with paper towels.
Very easy and fun to do. :)
This is the back of the tag!
Hope Kathy likes it.

Thank you for stopping in to see my "stuff"
I hope you enjoy and leave here inspired.

Hey Lisa
Your layouts again are over the top gorgeous. Love coming to see your creations. I just love the "creepy" chair. Your take is awesome. I love that Graphic 45 paper and I have purchased some and hoarding it...lol I am making my very last Heartfelt Creations project today. So if there are any swaps you think I might be interested in-let me know. I would be all over it...lol I can't wait to do my own thing.
Bear hugs,
Carol
